Homewood in Asheville NC was the beautiful wedding venue and the setting for Aislinn & Manoel’s wedding. The weather was fabulous and fall-like – perfect for exchanging wedding vows! The wedding was small and intimate with family and close friends. Congratulations guys – it was a pleasure to work with you!
A note about Homewood from their website http://www.mybelovedhomewood.com/#/welcome/about :
Homewood is the ideal venue for your wedding or event with its rich history and majestic ambiance. Often referred to as a castle because of its stone turret, Homewood originated as a private home and evolved into the warm and inviting event facility it is today. Homewood features a study and a 1,500 square foot ballroom, both wrapped in cherry with Appalachian stone fireplaces as well as various anterooms.
The Glen at Homewood is a romantic outdoor setting surrounded by elm trees, rhododendrons, dogwoods, ivy, and more. It’s hard to believe you’re only a mile from downtown in this serene cove. The Glen serves as the perfect ceremony site for outdoor weddings, concerts and other intimate occasions.
It is always a beautiful wedding venue, and with 19 Zillicoa Street being so close to downtown Asheville, it’s location lends itself very well to the wedding party and guests. I always enjoy and have lots of fun photographing at this classic Asheville wedding venue!
